Sandora brings extensive business development experience to the growing biomaterial coatings company.
HORSHAM, PA. JUNE 11, 2018 — Biocoat, Inc. announced today that Joseph Sandora has joined the company as Vice President of Business Development. Based in Horsham, PA, Biocoat develops and licenses biomaterial coatings for medical devices that are custom engineered to meet specific clinical design parameters.
“We are pleased to welcome Joe Sandora to the Biocoat team. As a dedicated business and corporate development resource, Joe will lead the organization in executing our hydrophilic coating solutions growth strategy throughout the United States and Europe,” said Jim Moran, President and CEO, Biocoat. “His executive medical-surgical experience, industry relationships, and innovative business approach will also aid in new customer capture.”
Sandora will lead Biocoat’s new corporate development function, which will include business development and corporate strategy. He will be a member of the Biocoat Executive Committee and report directly to Moran.
Prior to joining Biocoat, Sandora was Senior Vice President of Business Development at Devon Medical Products, a global medical device manufacturer and product design company. In that position, Sandora led the company’s key business areas, including: negative pressure wound therapy, lymphedema compression therapy, deep vein thrombosis compression therapy, and Nature’s Bond breast pump system.

Sandora received a B.A. degree in government from St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY. He lives in Yardley, PA, with his wife, Beth.
